What is the NWEA MAP test?

NWEA MAP Growth is a nationally normed, standardized achievement test which measures what students know and informs them what they're ready to learn next by using a computer adaptive test that adjusts to the ability and knowledge of the student.

What students take MAP tests?

Kindergarteners-10th graders (Fall & Spring tests) take the NWEA MAP tests.
KG-1st Grades take Reading and Math.
2nd-4th Grades take Reading, Language Arts, and Math.
4th-8th Grades take Reading, Language Arts, Math, and Science.

What is a gifted MAP score?

The gifted identification process is lengthy and can vary from student to student. It takes the entire school year to complete sometimes and may even lead to the next school year. The process begins with a qualifying Fall MAP score of 90% or higher.

How do IScGKC students do on NWEA MAP test scores?

Our students do very well in the MAP tests. We have seen a big improvement in the last couple of years in all grades.
