Our School

The Islamic School of Greater Kansas City (IScGKC), established in 1989, is a private, Muslim educational institution located at 8505 East 99th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. The school offers education from Preschool through 10th grade, integrating standard Missouri state curriculum with Islamic Studies, Quran, and Arabic language classes.

 

Students who want to graduate from IScGKC after 10th grade can participate in our dual-credit program with our local MCC colleges.  In this program, students can obtain their high school degree and, in some cases, obtain college credits at the same time.  Students in 11th and 12 grades can also enroll in the Summit Technology Academy for specialized classes.

 

The school emphasizes a nurturing learning environment where all students are treated equitably, fostering respect and love within the educational setting.  IScGKC also has a daycare located on campus, which includes before and after school care for our students.
