Math Club Award

We would like to congratulate, once again, Diana Elkishawi and the Math Club students for their success on achieving the Gold Level Status for 2016-2017 in the National Math club this year with her students!
The National Math Club is an inclusive math enrichment program that provides Club Leaders with the resources and materials needed to run the Math Club. The Club not only brings fun and exciting math problems to students, but it helps build confidence in students of all ability and interest levels by giving them the opportunity to engage in unique math activities in a relaxed, social setting.

Congratulations to our outstanding Food Director, Gulnaz Siddiqi. She has worked extremely hard many years every school day to prepare nutritional lunches for all of the students. She has received the Excellence in Food Safety, Sanitation and Employee Education award for the past five years.
Amazing 2017 SCIENCE FAIR by 1st-6th Graders

On February 9, 2017, our students in 1st-6th grades did an amazing job this year at our Science Fair. They put a lot of studying and hard work into their projects, and as the photos show, you can see the results that they discovered.
Scholastic Book Fair

The week of February 20-24, 2017, IScGKC held our annual Scholastic Book Fair. The funds raised from the sale of Scholastic Books was a little over $3,300 (around $1,000 for us to use to buy more Scholastic books). In addition, Amana Publications donated some Islamic books for us, and we sold around $630.
Thank you to Margaret Sammur, Safa Abdeljawad, Sister Rose, and Sister Asmaa for much hard work and in helping our students enjoy reading more!
