Curriculum Overview

The Islamic School of Greater Kansas City strives towards teaching our students subjects which allow them to excel academically and build their Islamic identity. Students at IScGKC are instructed in the following subjects:

• Islamic Studies

• Qur’an

• Arabic Language

• English Language Arts

• Mathematics

• Science

• Social Studies

• Physical Education

Other subjects in certain classes may include Art, Health, Psychology, Personal Finance, Marketing, and Yearbook.

Our curriculum follows the requirements, goals and objectives as designed by the state of Missouri.

We have a national accreditation with Cognia and an Islamic accreditation with CISNA.
